We had a few investment opportunities with our $100 bill and chose to split it between two worthy choices. Our neighbor recently passed away and left behind 2 little boys, you have probably read about the situation in Jeanna McQuillen’s post . We actually bought our house from the Swan family and became friends with them over the past few years. While many of the ladies in the neighborhood came together from time to time to help out and show support, this was a great opportunity for us to have a continued impact on their lives. We invested half of the money into the college fund that was set up for the boys. The other half was a donated to a fund raiser for Pregnancy Solutions services. My in-laws were walking for an awareness/outreach fund raiser and were matching the donations of their sponsors.
