We have made the decision to suspend meeting together for weekend services out of care and concern for you and our neighbors. Additionally, all other activities at CCC are suspended until further notice. Not only does God love you, but we love you, and as such, are taking into consideration your physical health as much as your spiritual health.

We realize that for many of us, gathering for worship is the highlight of our week and what we need most at times like this. However, we also feel a responsibility as loving neighbors to consider the health and wellness of the entire community. Therefore, we have decided to suspend meeting together for the time being—but that doesn’t mean weekend services are canceled! Instead, you’re invited to join us online every weekend for worship services at ccchapel.com/live.

Additionally, many of you worship by giving, for which we are so appreciative. Because we will not be gathering on weekends, you can continue giving at ccchapel.com/give.

Please pray for those affected by the coronavirus and allow the Lord to use you to share his light and love to your neighbors. To that end, if you are sick and need prayer or anything—we are here to help you. Just email us at [email protected].

As the situation evolves, we will be posting updates on this page and on our social media accounts: Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Below you will also find a list of FAQs.

Media Coverage

With our efforts to care for the community hitting the headlines, we ask that you share on your social media to help us spread the word so we can help more families:

Why is CCC suspending gathering in-person for weekend services?

This is a precautionary effort to help prevent the spreading of the coronavirus in larger gatherings. We have a responsibility to our members, attendees, and the community to maintain their safety. Church services aren’t being canceled – they will just look different at this time while we meet online at ccchapel.com/live and our Facebook page.

How long will CCC services, events, and activities be suspended?

To be honest—we don’t know. We are closely monitoring this situation day by day and following government and medical recommendations to determine when we can resume gathering. We will continue to give updates here and on social media as soon as we are able.

What are the service times to watch CCC online?

Our live stream will be available at ccchapel.com/live and our Facebook page during our normal weekend service times, which include:

Saturday // 5:30 p.m.
Sunday // 8:30, 10, and 11:30 a.m.

If you miss the live stream, you can always visit ccchapel.com/messages to watch the recording.

What does the online weekend service look like for CCC Kids?

We encourage families to watch our weekend services together. Gather around the screen, start the live stream, and when music starts, sing out loud with your kids like you would if you were here praising God in person. Model for them what it looks like to worship in your home. Our CCC Kids team will also be emailing you child-specific content that you can use with your kids on the weekends to help teach them about Jesus in ways that make sense to them. Not on the email list? Contact [email protected] to get added.

What about high school and middle school weekly gatherings and small groups?

All student events, activities, and gatherings are suspended for the time being. We recommend you follow the Porch Instagram account (high school) and Edge Instagram account (middle school), where they will be sharing updates and content for students regularly. If you have questions, please email [email protected].

Should we continue to meet with our community groups?

This is a personal decision between you and your group members. Our encouragement is to take extra caution in getting together, as you would with any other friends. Please err on the side of caution and get creative with how you meet if needed! Consider meeting via a group FaceTime call or by using Zoom to meet via teleconference online.

Are non-CCC events and activities that use CCC buildings suspended? (Ex: AA, private events)

Yes. Please reach out to the person who coordinates that event or activity for details.

Are any CCC mission trips being canceled?

We are in close contact with our mission partners regarding their local coronavirus regulations that could affect mission trips. If you are currently registered for a mission trip and have questions, reach out to your trip leader.

What should I do if I’m sick, need help, have a prayer request, or just need to ask for any type of assistance?

We are here for you! Please don’t hesitate to reach out. Contact us at [email protected].
