We desire to serve everyone who calls CCC their church home well. For us to communicate effectively and care for our church family well, we need to learn who calls CCC their church home.

With COVID-19 and other changes we as a church have undergone, we know that our CCC membership data is not fully accurate. We ask that you take a short survey to let us know if you still call CCC your church home. Please take a few minutes to update your information by Jul. 8 if possible.

We have a new message series starting this Sunday, and we’re so excited. In this new message series called “Jonah,” we are looking at the heart of God for those far from him, no matter who they are. Over the next four weeks, we will journey through the story of Jonah, which shows us God’s desire to align Jonah’s heart with his own heart in saving Nineveh and invites us to develop the same heart as well.

One of our hopes for this series and this summer is that everyone in our church will be able to share their “Story of Grace.” To find out more about what that means, come to hear the message this weekend and grab a handout from the Atrium.

We hope to see you Sunday at 8:30, 10, or 11:30 a.m.!

Baptism is an outward demonstration of an inward transformation. It’s a way of publicly declaring that the grace and truth of Jesus have made you new and made you his. If you have committed your life to Jesus but have never been baptized, we would love to help you take this next step in your walk with him.

If you would like to be baptized or find out more about baptism, there’s an upcoming baptism class on Mar. 6. Sign up at the link below.

The Worship and Production Teams will be hosting a training event on Feb. 26 to help you learn more about the ins and outs of worship and production.

Whether you’re a musician/singer or you’re more interested in the technical side of Sunday mornings, this will be a great time for you to hone your existing skills, learn some new ones, and meet some of the other people who volunteer in those ministries.

This weekend, we’re kicking off our new message series, “Who is Jesus?”, and you don’t want to miss it! Over the next 10 weeks, we’ll dive into the first 18 verses of the Gospel of John. These verses are a great description of who Jesus is: fully God, fully man, our King, and our Savior.

This will be an incredible time for both Christians and non-Christians, so invite your family and friends as we explore the identity of Jesus Christ.

At CCC, we have a number of stand-alone messages that happen throughout the year either between two message series or during a message series. During these messages, we highlight different ministries or truths that are important to the life of CCC.

This Sunday’s stand-alone message will dive into the Theology of the Church. We hope that you’ll join us at either 8:30, 10, or 11:30 a.m.

BONUS UPDATE
This past Tuesday was the first day of Black History Month. Our hope in these next few weeks is that we all take time to celebrate Black men and women of faith as well as build our awareness as we navigate discussions about race.

We have compiled a list of resources for you to interact with this month. There are movies, books, and even a next step for you to reach out and get help processing race through the hope we have in Jesus.
