INVITE // Christmas Eve Services
Invite your friends and family to join us on Christmas Eve! We will have services on Dec. 24 at 2, 3:30, 5, and 6:30 p.m. in our main Sanctuary and at 2, 3:30, and 5 p.m. in East Hall. This is a family-friendly service, so your children are welcome to join us! There will be no kids programming. Our Kids Team will also have busy bags available in the Atrium for your young children.

We hope to see you on Christmas Eve!

SIGN UP // Advent Interrupted
The Christmas season can be full of distractions. The hustle and bustle often consume our hearts and minds. This Advent season, we’re inviting you to pause with us.

Sign up for Advent Interrupted, a 20-day challenge that refocuses Jesus as the object of your attention this season. Each day, you will receive a text message at a random time that helps you slow down and refocus on the hope we have in Jesus.

FYI // New Parenting Podcast & Parent Summit Save the Date
In case you missed it, we have a new podcast called “Parenting for the Everyday”! This podcast is hosted by two moms, Holly Diakandru and Becca Coffey Alvarez, who are answering questions about parenting. They will interview professionals and other parents and share parenting hacks, advice, and resources. The most recent episode is about how to build lasting traditions during the holidays.

If you’ve been enjoying the parenting podcast, save the date for our next Parent Summit on Mar. 4! This is an event to equip parents with tools and resources for raising kids in our culture. Registration is coming soon.

FYI // New Advent Series
This weekend, we’re starting our new Advent series. We’ll be walking through the narrative of the birth of Jesus as told in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. We hope to teach the true story and events of the birth of Jesus and elevate our Savior as the object of our focus and wonder in this season.

If you’re a mom needing to connect with other moms, our Women’s Ministry has a great event called Moms Together. It’s a monthly gathering for moms to connect and be encouraged. SIGN UP // Thanksgiving Baskets
We’re blessed to be able to give to families in need during the holidays. If you’ve attended church the last couple of weeks, you may have noticed the Thanksgiving Baskets in the Atrium.

This Sunday is the final day to pick up a bin and fill it with the necessary items. Thanksgiving Basket drop-off is this Monday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Thank you in advance for your help this season!

We’re so excited to announce our new parenting podcast called “Parenting for the Everyday.” This podcast is hosted by two moms who are answering all your burning questions about parenting. We have a fantastic Kids Ministry here at CCC. They are always thinking of ways to engage your children and teach them about Jesus. They have a couple of events coming up that are perfect for your kids to invite someone to! The 2nd-5th grade Friendsgiving Pizza Picnic is on Nov. 19! This will be a time of food and fun! Also, Kids Play is on Nov. 30. They will have an opportunity to interact with animals at a hands-on event with Outback Ray.

Act II is a ministry engaging individuals ages 55+ with the community and the world for the glory of God and our good. They have a great event coming up! You’re invited to be part of an international Act II Friendsgiving on Nov. 18.

This is an opportunity for members of our congregation to share a Thanksgiving celebration with international students from around the world. The cost is $10.

Are you looking for a way to give back this holiday season? Pick up a Thanksgiving basket during our Sunday services Nov. 6-20! There will be a shopping list in each basket that will help you purchase everything necessary for a traditional Thanksgiving meal for up to 10 people.

Come get a basket, purchase the supplies, and drop off your basket on Nov. 21. These baskets will be distributed to families in our community who may otherwise go without a Thanksgiving meal.

Did you know we have an art studio? Well, we do! Door 2 Art Studio is a group of experienced artists here to support you creatively. They offer a creative environment for the local artist, as well as free materials. Everyone is welcome! D2 hosts Open Studio times, where you can drop in and have the opportunity to paint, draw, make sculptures, and more.

We invite you to attend our Adoption and Fostering Fundraiser Gala to celebrate what God has done through adoptive and foster families.

There will be different ways for you to give financially toward adoption throughout the night as you enjoy a plated dinner and entertainment. All proceeds will go toward an adoption fund that will allow families to pursue adoption. Tickets are $75 each, and cocktail attire is required.

We love seeing people take a next step at CCC. We have two in particular that we want to highlight.

First, we want to highlight our Reimagine Class on Oct. 26. This is our membership class, and it’s designed for those who are new to our church and those who have been around for a while but want to learn more about where we believe God is leading us.

Second is our Baptism Class. Baptism is a way of publicly declaring that the grace and truth of Jesus have made you new and made you his son or daughter. If you would like to be baptized, you are invited to attend one of our upcoming Baptism Classes on Oct. 16 or Nov. 13.

Reimagine Class Baptism Class

Our Student Ministry is always looking for ways to engage middle school and high school students. This is a very important time in life for them, and our Student Ministry exists to provide community and help them grow in their walk with Jesus.

Our High School Ministry has a Fall Getaway event coming up from Nov. 11-13 that your high schoolers don’t want to miss! This will be a weekend spent with their friends stargazing, hanging around a bonfire, and competing in challenges.
