May Mental Health Night
Life can be a lot. And we don’t always know how to deal with it all. There is a way forward. There always is with God. On Thursday, May 14 we are offering biblically sound 60-minute workshops, full of wise, practical advice and tools for finding a better way forward with our anxiety, grief, and depression.
6:30-7:30pm: Anxiety (Room 16)
6:30-7:30pm: Parenting Big Emotions (Room 11)
7:30-8:30pm: Grief (Room 16)
Our Anxiety: Anxiety is one of the most universal human experiences. It is the most common diagnosed mental health disorder, and most shared emotion we experience in a given day. God has a different way for us. Let’s discover it together.
Our Grief: It is not a matter of if but when we will lose something. A loved one. A job. Our health. Things can change rapidly and grief can come quickly. Rather than stuffing it or distracting ourselves from it, come learn to address it with God.
Our Parenting Big Emotions: All our kids have them. How do we respond? Guided by a professional counselor from Fieldstone Counseling, we’ll learn how to respond with patience, wisdom, and grace—reflecting Christ’s love in the midst of our children's big emotions.
Registration is required to attend this event.
Kid's programming is available at 6:30pm sessions.
Must be in high school or older to attend (unless accompanied by a parent).
There is a free dinner beforehand!
